CONTI® SYNCHROFLEX polyurethane timing belts
c***ist of two components – a cast polyurethane shell
and a high grade steel cord tension member. The excel
lent bond between the two materials results in a very
high power tran***ission capacity.
The manufacturing process – cast moulded poly
urethane – combines the following advantages:
• The cast polyurethane timing belt is an exact image
of the precision engineered mould. High pitch accu
racy is achieved over the entire belt. The technology
is particularly suitable for applicati*** requiring high
levels of angular accuracy, ***ooth running characte
ristics, high rotational speeds and long life.
• Excellent linearity with high pitch accuracy and re
peatability allows the length to be optimised by
adjusting the cord tension.
