Operating

Automatic preparation can be

carried out using the PE.RU and

PE.IU polishing heads in

conjunction with any of the

MECAPOL P 230, P 260 and P 262

base units.

The techniques for preparation

can be optimised to ensure

repeatable reliable results

with less operator time.

Due to variable speed all

polishing processes can be

achieved.

PE.RU: This automatic polishing

head takes a fixed sample frame

for 3, 4 or 6 samples Ø 25 to

40 mm at a time. Ideal for large

volume applications and/or

applications requiring extreme

flatness.

PE.IU: This automatic polishing

head by individual pressure

capability for 1-4 samples at

a time with 25-40 mm. The time

to planarity considerably reduced
