The series ZJP Roots vacuum pump can be used as boosters combined with a backing pump such as a rotary piston or a rotary vane vacuum pump. Or a liquid ring vacuum pump. But they can not be used to exhaust gas directly to atmosphere.

 The series ZJP Roots pumps are high in ultimate pressure （With a double stage rotary piston pump its backing pump. A roots pump can attain an ultimate pressure of 10-4hpa  ）Their inherent overflow valve play auto-protective role. Lubrication is unnecessary as there is no contact between rotors，rotor and housing. The robust drive of the pump and operating parts balanced carefully permit that the pump be stable operated continuously under the condition of high pressure differential. The series ZJP roots pump also h***e a feature of lower noise.
