黑刚玉：又称低铝刚玉。是于电炉中，将铝矾土熔炼而制得的一种以α- Al2O3和铁尖晶石为主矿相的灰黑色结晶体。
特点：α- Al2O3含量较低，并有一定的Fe2O3（10%左右）存在，因而具有硬度适中、韧性高、耐高温、热态性能稳定。
本公司黑刚玉黑刚玉磨料基本粒集中，切削力强，韧性大，刚柔相济，耐磨性好，工效高。
使用范围：多用于自由研磨，如制品电镀前的打磨工粗磨。
主要用于不锈钢，金属制品，光学玻璃，竹木制品的抛光和喷砂，又是制造树脂砂轮，切割片，纱布的新颖磨料。
