直升机平台防滑网由白棕绳（马尼拉绳）相互散股穿插编织而成，利用白棕绳粗糙的表面与平台间的摩擦力，来保证直升机稳定降落在平台表面，减小直升机在平台上滑动，杜绝直升机从平台滑落等恶***件发生。
直升机平台防滑网，又叫飞机降落网、防滑网：材质一般采用马尼拉绳、剑麻绳、尼龙绳等材料。网的尺寸一般有9mx9m、12mx12m、14mx14m、15mx15m、20m*20m，网眼尺寸一般为20cmx20cm，刚好可以卡住飞机的轮子，防止飞机被大风吹移，甚至坠落海里。
