Keithley 7001 is a high density switch controller with half rack size. It supports wide range of signal access in industrial test and measurement. DC switching capability ranges from nanovolts to 1100 volts, from Fei'an (10-15A) to 5A, plus RF and optical switching capabilities, making 7001 a widely used measuring tool. It is possible to control every step of the test process by 7001 without connecting to the computer. Simple program can control channel interval, scan interval and scan times. A built-in non-volatile memory can store a combination of 100 switching states.
Each slot of 7001 can reach 40 channels. This means that 7001 requires fewer switching ca*** and reduces the need for switching ha***are. The analog backplane connection of 7001 can make two ca*** into a 1x80 multiplexer or a 4x20 matrix, or a combination of multiplexers/matrices (matrices can be extended)
The vacuum fluorescent display on 7001 host can display the switching status of each channel at the same time. These displays include graphical display of switch combination state, which makes it very convenient to configure test system, modify and debug. The status of the two ca*** in the slot is displayed on the same screen one by one.
Trigger connection is a high-speed trigger bus, which can provide simple trigger coordination between 7001 and other instruments. This bus can eliminate the delay caused by GPIB communication during scanning, and greatly speed up the overall working speed of the system.
80 Channel High Density Switch Controller (2-wire) can store 100 switching states through manual setting control or IEEE-488 control.
