关于活性炭吸附箱、活性炭吸附净化装置：
活性炭吸附净化装置，常用于有机废气的深度净化或高价有机溶剂回收。以大比表面积、高吸附性能的活性炭作为吸附剂，吸附净化有机废气，排出干净的空气。当活性炭达到饱和临界状态时，采用水蒸汽或者惰性气体进行解吸再生，再生的活性炭继续使用，而解吸出来的有机废气，实际是浓缩了的有机废气流，如果有回收价值，可进一步做回收处理；如果没有回收价值，一般用热力氧化（RTO）或者催化氧化（RTO、光氧化催化等）进行最后的净化处理。
如果是间歇排放的有机废气，一般选用一个活性炭吸附床即可；如果是连续排放的有机废气，要装置两个活性炭吸附床，轮流交替吸附、解吸。
对于生产过程高于40℃的有机废气，系统中一般会增加冷凝器，对高温有机废气流先冷却干燥后，再吸附浓缩净化。
活性炭吸附净化装置的应用：
广泛应用于各种工业有机废气处理，例如印刷有机废气处理、喷漆有机废气处理、造纸厂有机废气排气处理、镀膜加工废气处理、各种电子厂排气净化处理、半导体厂排气净化处理、锂电池厂的废气净化处理、以及大型研究设施的通风橱排气净化处理等等。
可净化的有机废气种类：苯类、醇类、酮类、酯类、汽油类等有机废气。
可用于低浓度、大风量的有机废气净化；同时也可以用于高浓度、间歇排放的有机废气净化。
关于喷淋吸收塔、湿法尾气净化塔：
也叫喷淋净化塔、化学洗涤塔。其原理主要是根据臭气的成分利用不同的化学吸收剂，作为洗涤喷淋溶液与气体中的臭气分子发生气一液接触，使气相中之臭味成分转移至液相，并利用化学药剂与臭味成分相中和、氧化或其它化学反应去除臭味物质。化工厂废气处理的好方法。
常用的吸收剂有水、洗油（碳氢化合物）、乙二醇醚、次氯酸盐溶液、碱液、酸类、氨水、亚硫酸盐溶液、高猛酸钾溶液、过氧化酸等
化学吸收液从塔顶往下喷淋，废气向上流，臭气与吸收液充分接触、反应而被去除。吸收液与废气流量比例(液／气比)一般为1:3 L/m3，填料高度一般为2~5米，气体空塔流速一般为0.5~1米/秒。操作良好之填充塔，除臭效果可达到90％以上。

可应用化学洗涤方法处理臭味物质包括有机硫化合物（硫醇、硫醚）、含氮化合物（胺）、有机酸、酚、甲酚、乙醛、醇类、含氯化烃类有机废气、含氧碳氢化合物、含卤化物等废气物质。
常用于无机污染物的净化，例如含HCl、SO2、NOx、NH3等废气的吸收净化。
